My name is Caleb Beavers and I am a one man machine shop in Boulder Colorado. I learned the art of metal machining during my Undergrad at CU Boulder. Since graduation, I have found myself working in a number of shops around the Boulder area until I finally decided to invest in my own machine tools. Now I have a modest machine shop in my two car garage that allows me to create pretty much anything I can design. I hope to grow this business to add more manufacturing capabilities to my arsenal, and be able to create more complex and intricate parts and prototypes.

I graduated CU with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering. Mechanical design is my specialty. Through undergrad and my professional career, I have learned how to excel at numerous 3D CAD programs, and I have the opportunity to design many different types of products and creations. Using modern day technology to bring an idea to life is one of my greatest joys in life, and I would love to help you on your next project.

On the personal side I am an avid outdoorsman and fitness enthusiast, and I love doing work in these industries. My main passion is the sport of highlining, and I have done so for 8 years. Through my time balancing on a slackline hundreds of feet in there, I have managed to set multiple unofficial records in the sport. Namely, I helped setup and walk the longest highline in the US at the time (Nov. 2020), at a length of 1,000m in the canyons of Moab, UT. I also enjoy rock climbing, snowboarding, archery, and hunting. Through these passions I have had the opportunity to work on a number of projects in the outdoor industry. I designed and manufactured two slackline products through my previous company, Space Age Slacklines. I have also helped Bishop Skis design and create a collapsible ski pole for telemark skiing. Through my time working at Eldorado Climbing Walls, I designed and help launch multiple product lines for self installable climbing walls, as well as multiple full size permanent climbing walls.
